This excursion is our one-day trek starting at 1740m altitude. Initially, you will start your day early with a visit to the local community Argan oil processing co-operative followed by refreshments. During this visit you will see first-hand the production process and learn all about the oil’s benefits. You will start your trekking excursion early from Arghan village and will bypass the beautiful and traditional villages of Mizik, Armoud, Ashien and Targa Imoula.
As well as the stop to a community co-operative heading up the processing of the infamous Argan oil followed by refreshments, the excursion includes a stop to Argan for a traditional Berber lunch served in our sister guesthouse. This route includes extra walking for those who wish to explore further as well as a stop to our local lovely Waterfall.
This excursion will include approx. 7.5hrs trekking and will suit those who enjoy scenic views, longer trekking durations and on occasions, hiking, on variable terrains. Depending on your fitness level, some experience may be required, however no intense experience or training required.
Following your excursion, there is the additional opportunity to stay or dine in our sister guest house in Imlil for those who wish to relax and explore even further either prior or following their trekking expedition.
