This excursion is for a our five-day, four-night hike optimising the best locations for a mid-week duration allowing you to reach the summit and trek pass and experience various Berber villages.
You will start in the centre of Imlil village where you will trek to the popular Aroumd and Chamharouch climbing across the terrains to for your overnight stay in the refugee camp site. The following day will see further trek to the summit of Jbel Toubkal at 4167m altitude providing you with an epic 360 view by hiking down for a traditional lunch stop at the local refuge. There will be the opportunity to trek early morning during the spectacular sunrise. The following day will see the trek to Tizi N’Oglzim and Azib Tamsoult for an overnight stay. The last day will include a trek to Tizi Mzik followed by Arghan.
Not only will you reach the summit of the highest mountain of North Africa, Jbel Toubkal, you will also pass through some amazing locations and various traditional villages allowing you to absorb the best of the Atlas Mountains and the Berber traditional lifestyle with an epic 360 view.
This excursion will include approx. 22 hrs of trekking over the course of five days and may be most suitable for hikers who enjoy such expeditions and challenges, enjoy epic scenic views and aspire to reach the summit while ensuring some hiking experiences in such altitudes with some steep terrains.
N.B. Overnight accommodation: Overnight accommodation is generally either tent or the local refuge/guest house. These options will depend on the season and the weather conditions. Experiences that include camping will include the tent materials and mattresses.
