High Atlas Mountains
When you go hiking in the High Atlas Mountains, short break tours like this help you lose all sense of time and stress. From day one, after a transfer from Marrakech, you’re trekking with an expert guide and muleteer, taking in views of Imlil and Assif N’ait Oussaden Valleys. By day two on this four day break, you hit the heights of Tizi N’taghrhourte Pass (1,995m) and, on day three, Tizi-n-Tegdalt Pass (2,700m). Walking gently from one traditional Berber village to another, take your time to absorb new landscapes and cultures, while staying in a mix of traditional gîtes and a mountain hut.
High Atlas Mountains
This is a privately-guided trek, you will not be part of a group, and your party will be accompanied by a personal certified guide and a muleteer.
There is also an option to add on some extra days with other natural adventures in the Ourika Valley and Essaouira at the end of your tour. For more details see below.

And rest assured, the tagine will be ready and waiting when you’re done.
- You will never go hungry on Moroccan tours, with food playing a central role in the country’s culture and innate sense of hospitality. The aforementioned tagine is omnipresent, usually made with chicken, lamb and vegetables all slowly cooked together in an earthenware pot. Locally grown nuts such as almonds or walnuts, as well as dried apricots and dates are regulars on the table, and harira soup, made with tomatoes, lentils, chickpeas, lamb and spices is a Ramadan regular at the end of a day of fasting.
