This excursion is our six-day five-nights optimising the best locations for a week in the Atlas Mountains. Perfect for those who aspire to complete a longer trek and explore the beautiful Atlas Mountains for a longer duration.
You will start in the centre of Asni village where you will visit the well-known local market. Following the visit your trek will pass Tansrat, El Bour, Imsker, Tinghar, Yarbasn, Tacheddirt Amgdoul and Tamatert. Overnight stays are in local Berber villages like Imsker, Oukaimden, Timichi, Amgdoul, and Arghan. This excursion offers trekking through various traditional and beautiful villages reaching the popular mountain of Oukaimden and experiencing stunning views.
Not only will you see various Berber villages and dine with the locals, you will be at great heights and altitudes giving you epic views experiencing the best of the amazing Atlas Mountains.
This excursion will include approx. 31 hrs of trekking over the course of six days and may be most suitable for mountaineers who enjoy such expeditions with epic scenic views and aspire to reach mountains while ensuring some hiking experiences in such altitudes with some steep terrains.
N.B. Overnight accommodation: Overnight accommodation is generally either tent or the local refuge/guest house. These options will depend on the season and the weather conditions. Experiences that include camping will include the tent materials and mattresses.
