This excursion is our eight-days, seven-nights providing you with great route and great locations for a full week in the Atlas Mountains crossing many villages and soaking the Berber lifestyle.
You will start in Imlil and will trek pass the remarkable villages of Aroumd, Chamharouch, Tizi N’Ouanoums, Ait Igran, and Azib Tiwona. You will also pass Likemt, Tamgist, Ikiss and Amssakrou before reaching Imi Oughlad. Overnight stays will be in the incredible Toubkal Refuge, Lac D’ifni, Amsouzart, Amgdoul and Imsker. Not only will you live the sensational Berber traditions through the various Berber villages and dine with the local, you will be at great altitudes giving you 360 epic views from Mount. Toubkal and surroundings. If preferred, the summit trek can be done early morning in time for sunrise.
This excursion will include approx. 40 hrs of trekking over the course of eight days and may suit hikers and mountaineers who enjoy such expeditions and challenges, enjoy epic scenic views and aspire to reach the summit in a while ensuring hiking experiences in such altitudes with steep terrains.
N.B. Overnight accommodation: Overnight accommodation is generally either tent or the local refuge/guest house. These options will depend on the season and the weather conditions. Experiences that include camping will include the tent materials and mattresses.
